El rapero Kendrick Lamar fue el curador de la banda sonora de la exitosa película de Marvel Black Panther, la cual está compuesta por 14 temas en donde participaron además artistas como James Blake y The Weeknd.
El ganador del Grammy a Mejor Álbum Hip Hop participó en 5 temas: All the Stars con SZA y King’s Dead junto a Jay Rock, Future y James Blake. También Pray for Me en colaboración con The Weeknd, Big Shot junto a Travis Scott y como solista en la canción principal del mismo nombre que la película.
Entre otros artistas que participaron están Vince Staples, Schoolboy Q y 2 Chainz, Ab-Soul y Anderson Paak junto a James Blake, y Khalid y Swae Lee.
