La Asociación de Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood dio a conocer los nominados para la edición número 79 de los Golden Globes Awards, luego de un año algo controversial y con la noticia de que su habitual transmisión televisiva repleta de estrellas este año no se llevará a cabo.
La plataforma de streaming Netflix lleva la delantera en cuanto a cantidad de nominaciones en general con 17, con películas como “The Power of the Dog”, “Tick, Tick… Boom!” y “Don’t Look Up”. Entre las nominaciones en la categoría Mejor Serie Drama, Netflix suma a “Lupin” y “Squid Game”.
Hablando de “Squid Game”, el drama coreano obtuvo además otras 2 nominaciones en las categorías Mejor Actor Serie Drama para Lee Jung-jae y Mejor Actor de Reparto Serie Drama para O Yeong-su.
En cuanto a películas, “The Power of the Dog”, “King Richard” y “Belfast” dominaron la categoría de drama, mientras que “West Side Story”, “Licorice Pizza” y “Don´t Look Up” lo hicieron en la categoría de comedia musical.
Por otra parte, “Succesion” de HBO fue la serie más nominada con 5, mientras que “Ted Lasso” y “The Morning Show” de Apple TV obtuvieron 4 nominaciones.
La premiación se llevará a cabo el próximo domingo 9 de enero en una ceremonia aún por determinar.
